If you’ve spent any amount of time working with a Foundry marketing team member, you know how blessed we are to boast some of the best talent in the business! We consistently hear praise from clients and others in the CRE space that our marketing efforts outshine many others in our space, but as it turns out, when Foundry’s marketers go up against campaigns and tactics in the broader advertising arena, recognition abounds.
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) annually conducts the “ADDY” Awards, the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. The awards program attracts more than 25,000 entries every year. Recognizing campaigns that launched in 2022, two Foundry initiatives were awarded Silver ADDYs within the past month:
- Hannah Chittum, Graphic Design Manager, based in Nashville – Silver ADDY for the Engage Women’s Summit Overall Branding. Hannah entered the branding elements of the Women’s Summit and won in the Out-of-Home / Ambient Media category. In its first year in 2022, the Engage Women’s Summit was created to celebrate, recognize, and empower the women of Foundry Commercial. Hosted at the brand-new “Wave” hotel in Orlando’s growing Lake Nona community, the backdrop served as the design inspiration for the branding and the accompanying pieces of collateral. Hannah created branded postcards, sticker sheets, dinner cards, event signage, swag bags, and other marketing materials for the event, which the AAF considered award-winning.
- Olivia Griffin, Graphic Design Manager, based in Charlotte – Silver ADDY for “The Pass” Brand Announcement. Olivia submitted and won a Silver ADDY in the Sales and Marketing category for her work on the drip brand announcement for The Pass, a new development project in the emerging NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte. At the time the campaign kicked off, the project’s brand had not yet been announced to the public, and the team wanted to get people talking. With that in mind, they came up with the concept of sending a series of mailers leading up to the announcement of the brand. Each mailer also included a small gift that was branded with the new projects branding. The campaign is ongoing and now delivers a branded 6-pack of beer every time they reach a milestone.
“In the thick of the day-to-day tasks involved in getting our work done, it can be hard to catch our breath and stop to recognize all of the amazing marketing we’re doing for our teams, our clients, and our partners,” said Brittney Wimberly, Foundry’s Director of Marketing. “It’s all the more special when fellow creatives and peers in the advertising and marketing spaces acknowledge the great work being done by members of the Foundry marketing team.”
