Nashville, Tenn. (April 22, 2024) – TruGreen Limited Partnership (“TruGreen”) a lawn care company serving communities across the United States through a network of 280 locations, has selected Foundry Commercial to provide Real Estate Advisory and Transaction Services. TruGreen sought a partner to support their local branches, which provide lawn, tree and shrub care, mosquito and perimeter pest control to help more than 2.3 million residential and commercial customers enjoy beautiful landscapes. Foundry Commercial will serve as TruGreen’s exclusive commercial real estate transaction services provider. Foundry Commercial is a full-service commercial real estate company with an integrated development and investments platform, operating across the office, industrial, retail, multi-family, healthcare, religious, and not-for-profit asset classes and clients.
“This multi-year engagement enables us to enhance our short- and long-range business objectives and location strategies by tapping into Foundry’s multi-market data analytics platform and brokerage expertise,” says Jeremy Benkin, Director of Real Estate for TruGreen. “We needed a partner with the resources and commitment to help us ensure that our local operations are well-positioned for growth and profitability, and we believe Foundry is that partner.”
TruGreen Vice President of Supply Chain Hobbs DeWitt added, “We wanted something different – that enables corporate real estate to function as a disruptive, innovative engine for TruGreen, and we see that in the solutions brought by the Foundry team.”
“We are excited and honored to have this opportunity to serve TruGreen, led by some of our veteran associates, all with ties to Memphis,” noted Foundry CEO Paul Ellis. Vince Dunavant, a Parter in the Foundry Nashville office and Jim Hayden, Jr., Managing Director of Real Estate Solutions in Dallas, both originally from Memphis, teamed up to win this assignment. John Keller, a Nashville Partner, and Dunavant lead a team that specializes in multimarket advisory and transaction services for corporate clients. Keller spent several years leasing office space early in his career in Memphis.
“We are confident that the Foundry team has the expertise and capability to help us optimize our transaction process, but what is most exciting is their ability to integrate data sources to develop insights to our business and how communities will grow through visual, interactive, tools that will position us for revenue growth and operational efficiency,” added Benkin. Foundry’s data analytics and business intelligence platform, led by Zane Henderson, Vice President of Real Estate Services Operations, is giving clients new and improved visibility to customer growth areas and the most efficient ways of reaching them.
Following a recent real estate strategy and process development session led by Foundry, DeWitt remarked, “We’re off to a great start! One of best strategy sessions I have attended.”
Dunavant observed, “This is why I joined Foundry and what draws so many of us here,” referring to the Foundry vision of being a commercial real estate company driven by relationships and the passion to build something different. “We are all grateful to have this opportunity of doing just that with our new client, TruGreen.”
