Raleigh, N.C. (June 3, 2024) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service real estate services and investment firm with offices across the Sun Belt, is proud to announce that Jane Doggett, CCIM, Raleigh Market Leader, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance. This prestigious honor recognizes Doggett’s exceptional contributions to the real estate industry and her unwavering commitment to the growth and sustainability of the Blue Ridge Corridor.
The Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance, dedicated to enhancing the Blue Ridge Corridor through coordinated public and private investments, presented the award at its annual gala in recognition of Doggett’s nearly decade-long service on its board. The Alliance’s mission includes creating jobs, fostering a pedestrian-friendly environment, increasing property values, and establishing a vibrant destination through the development of complete streets infrastructure and mixed-use projects.
“Jane served on the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance board for nearly a decade, having been strongly dedicated to our mission,” said Stuart Levin, President of the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance. “As a native of the city, Jane is passionate about a sustainable future for west Raleigh and the wider community. She has a deep knowledge of the real estate market, which is enhanced by her professionalism and overall good nature. Jane is family-oriented and well-grounded. Overall, she is an asset to any organization in which she is involved.”
Since joining Foundry Commercial in 2023, Doggett has brought her extensive experience and leadership to her role as Raleigh Market Leader. Prior to Foundry, she spent over 20 years at Highwoods Properties Inc., managing Class-A office leasing for a portfolio exceeding two million square feet. Additionally, as Senior Director of Leasing for the nation’s largest private Life Science developer, she oversaw the growth of a four million square foot portfolio in Downtown Durham and the Research Triangle Park.
“Jane continues to be extremely active and generous with her time, ideas, and influence,” commented Jeff Murison, Executive Director of the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance. “We are very grateful for her service to our community.”
Doggett is deeply committed to the Triangle community, even beyond her volunteer efforts for the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance. As the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors for the WakeMed Hospital Foundation, she champions healthcare initiatives and remains actively involved in various civic and industry organizations. Her roles have included Vice Chair of Economic Development for the Cary Chamber of Commerce and President of both the Triangle CREW chapter and the North Carolina CCIM chapter.
“We are proud of Jane’s recognition by the Blue Ridge Corridor Alliance,” said Gregg Ickes, President of Foundry Commercial. “This award is a testament to her dedication and impact beyond the confines of real estate; she is truly committed to making a difference where she lives and works.”
