John Mudgett is a Senior Vice President with Foundry Commercial with over 15 years of commercial real estate brokerage experience in Landlord Representation, Tenant Representation and Investment Sales. As an owner and operator of commercial property, John brings a unique creative perspective to each new assignment, infusing the Office Agency team with a strategic and straightforward approach—partnering with property owners and tenants to ensure well-informed and sound real estate decisions.
Before his role at Foundry Commercial, John served as Vice President at Turton Commercial Real Estate in Sacramento. His achievements include winning the 2019 Next Gen Broker of the Year and securing the title of top producer for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
John’s early career foundation was established in West Los Angeles with Madison Partners, which gave him valuable exposed him to world class brokers and kick-started his career in representing start-ups in the dynamic landscape of “Silicon Beach.” Over the years, he has worked closely with entrepreneurs, risk-takers, and rebels, representing start-ups that have achieved unicorn status and raised substantial capital. His clientele spans from local ownership to institutional giants like Blackstone, Equity Office, City of Sacramento, Greater Nashville Regional Council, and Metro Nashville.
John has the gift of looking for the opportunity in every moment. In the midst of the Great Recession, Mr. Mudgett co-founded Pacific Crest Partners, a real estate investment syndicate specializing in acquiring and re-positioning distressed assets throughout the greater Sacramento region. Beyond managing investments, he offers his insights and advisory services to his clients in the form of strategic analysis, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Outside the boardroom, John, along with his wife Savannah and their two children, calls Brentwood, Tennessee, home. They are often found enjoying the outdoors through activities such as running, hiking, or exploring the South. John is also an avid reader & writer as well as a volunteer & leader of a Men’s Group at Church of the City.
