Colorado Springs, Colo. (May 16, 2024) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service real estate services and investment firm, recently assisted Invictus International Consulting with a strategic expansion into Colorado Springs. Invictus primarily focuses on providing state-of-the-art cybersecurity, technology, and intelligence solutions to support the nation’s security infrastructure. From the new location in Colorado, Invictus will provide cybersecurity and Internet Service Provider (ISP) engineering and operations support for government agencies, defense organizations, and private sector clients.
Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, Invictus is a Veteran-owned cybersecurity and technology integrator. After launching in 2014, they developed a relationship with Foundry Commercial Managing Director Andrew Genova, and the teams continued to work together on real estate transactions over time. When it became clear Invictus was interested in expanding operations, they engaged Foundry to complete a multi-market site assessment to consider where this second base of operations would be. One of the compelling offers coming out of Colorado was the fact that the area boasts many veterans who could be tapped for high-paying jobs as well as a growing talent pipeline through the colleges and universities in the area.
“We are excited to establish a presence in Colorado Springs, a city deeply rooted in military heritage and innovation. This strategic move allows us to collaborate more closely with our military partners, leverage the talent pool in the region, and continue delivering exceptional solutions to our clients,” said Jim Kelly, CEO of Invictus.
With guidance from Foundry Commercial, Invictus is leasing an approximately 15,000-square-foot building in an opportunity zone within Peak Innovation Park. The build-out of the new space is currently underway, and Invictus employees are expected to be in the building by next spring. Invictus currently has 300 employees, 65 of whom live in Colorado.
“It was our pleasure to continue our long-standing relationship with Invictus, demonstrating a shared commitment to prioritizing people and culture as we helped them evaluate their next phase of growth,” added Genova, a 15-year commercial real estate veteran. “We were impressed with the owner and their representatives in this transaction, who truly understood the vision Invictus has for their operations in Colorado and helped to make that a reality. We look forward to seeing all that Invictus will do from their growing base of operations.”
