ATLANTA, Ga. (January 15, 2019) – When Foundry Commercial rebranded and recapitalized three years ago, few anticipated the success and growth that would occur in such a short amount of time. Now with more than 300 professionals across the Southeast and Texas, the organization leases and manages 50 million square feet and has invested $1 billion in real estate assets through joint venture partnerships with some of the leading institutional investors in the country. In September, Foundry announced the acquisition of the brokerage business of OakPoint Real Estate’s Nashville office, adding nine new team members for a total of 21 in that market. And now in Atlanta, Foundry has recruited the next generation of industrial brokerage leaders with Ryan Blackburn, Jordan Camp, John Gosnell, Reid Hanner, and Andy Head.
“2018 was a banner year for Foundry Commercial, and heading into the future, this new team of talented individuals will allow our clients to capitalize on the continued growth we are seeing in the industrial market here in Atlanta” said Chris Hurd, Atlanta market leader for Foundry Commercial. “By adding Ryan, Jordan, John, Reid and Andy to our team, we are building the new dream team in the Atlanta industrial real estate market.”
“Continuing the momentum in Atlanta has been a strategic objective that we’ve remained laser-focused on during the past year,” stated Pryse Elam, president of development and investments. “We’ve seen tremendous growth in Foundry’s industrial platform throughout the Southeast, and our partners have made it well-known that they would like to see us grow our services and development opportunities here in Georgia. Following the delivery of key projects such as the new Amazon facility at the Carrie Meek International Business Park in Florida, we know – with the right talent – we’re up for this challenge.”
Ryan Blackburn has been engaged in the Atlanta commercial real estate market since 2012 and is recognized as one of the top industrial tenant rep brokers in the market. He has represented local, regional, and national companies, and he has been involved in more than 100 lease and sale transactions in the region. Blackburn also represents institutional landlords and began his career with one of the market’s largest leasing teams. Blackburn is a graduate of Mercer University, where he received by his bachelor’s degree as well as his master’s degree in business administration.
Jordan Camp specializes in development and investment analysis, asset management, institutional agency leasing, and regional tenant representation. Since the beginning of his career, he has negotiated over 2,000,000 square feet of industrial real estate transactions on behalf of his institutional, regional, and local clients. Prior to joining Foundry, Camp worked within Stream Realty’s industrial services division in Atlanta, where he helped the company grow its leasing and management portfolio from three million square feet to over ten million square feet and also played a key role in the company’s first Southeast industrial development, a speculative 280,000-square foot, Class A distribution center located along Atlanta’s I-85 S corridor. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, Camp is a member of the UGA Young Alumni Association as well as NAIOP.
Andy Head specializes in industrial investment sales and leasing, representing both landlords and tenants. With more than seven years of commercial real estate brokerage experience, Head will serve as a Senior Associate in the Atlanta office. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in both Georgia and Texas, having joined Foundry after spending the past two years working at JLL on the largest agency leasing team in Austin, Texas. Head also graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and is currently a member of the UGA Young Alumni Association as well as Capital Group Atlanta and NAIOP.
John Gosnell joins Foundry Commercial’s Atlanta office from Lavista Associates, where he represented clients in the office, industrial, retail and investment spaces. With extensive experience in the Atlanta market, Gosnell will work closely with clients to identify and negotiate the best commercial real estate investments for their needs. Gosnell is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Reid Hanner will work with the office’s industrial team to facilitate leases, identify business development opportunities and service existing and future clients throughout the region. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Hanner has several years of experience in Atlanta’s commercial real estate scene with JLL and Stream Realty.
Foundry Commercial opened its full-service Atlanta office in October 2016. The company recently surpassed a milestone of 7,000,000+ square feet of industrial space currently under development, with much of this focus in the southeastern U.S.
